Building Envelope: This is basically your four walls, windows, floor and ceiling.
Addressable Building Envelope: You have already done what you can as far as Patch-Up goes in Phase III. However, if, for example, you have single pane windows you should put in double pane windows. Maybe you need a new insulated door. Are your walls generally cold to the touch? Maybe you need to pump them with insulation or re-side your home. Alot of people will need to hire contractors to do this type of work so we have put it off as long as possible.
Energy Efficiency Methods:
Savings: The savings vary considerably and average weather conditions are used. In the case of mild Summers and Winters following improvements you would not save as much as predicted. In the case of extreme Summers and Winters you would save more than predicted.
